I: Product Overview

     The magnetic flap level gauge can be used for detecting the liquid level of media in various towers, tanks, containers, spherical vessels, and boilers. This level gauge offers high sealing, leak prevention, and is suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosion-resistant environments. It overcomes the shortcomings of glass plate (tube) level gauges, such as poor clarity and susceptibility to breakage, and provides measurement without blind spots, clear display, and a wide measurement range. The components of the magnetic flap level gauge are made from materials such as 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 316L, 0Cr18Ni9Ti, 1Cr18Ni9Ti lined with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), PVC, PP, and imported components, ensuring reliability and corrosion resistance.

II: Principle

     The magnetic flap level gauge (also known as a magnetic float level gauge) is developed based on the principle of buoyancy and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the measured container rises or falls, the magnetic float inside the gauge's main tube moves accordingly. The magnet inside the float transmits the magnetic coupling to the magnetic flap indicator, driving the red and white flaps to flip 180°. When the liquid level rises, the flaps change from white to red; when the liquid level falls, the flaps change from red to white. The red-white boundary on the indicator represents the actual height of the liquid level inside the container, providing clear and precise level indication.

IV: Usage Precautions

1. The level gauge must be installed vertically to ensure the float assembly moves freely up and down inside the main tube.

2. The installation position of the magnetic flap level gauge should avoid or be far from the inlet and outlet of the medium to prevent rapid changes in the local fluid area, which could affect the accuracy of level measurement.

3. The remote transmission instrument should be placed close to the main tube of the level gauge and secured with a stainless steel clamp (iron clamps are prohibited).

4. The sensing surface of the remote transmission instrument should face and be close to the main tube.

5. During debugging, first open the upper valve of the guide tube, then slowly open the lower valve to allow the medium to enter the main tube steadily (avoid rapid impact of the medium on the float during operation, as it may cause severe fluctuations and affect display accuracy). Observe whether the magnetic red and white flaps flip normally. Then close the lower guide tube valve, open the drain valve, and allow the liquid level in the main tube to drop. Repeat this process three times to ensure normal operation (except for corrosive or other special liquids).

6. Depending on the medium, periodically clean the main tube of the magnetic flap level gauge to remove impurities.
